From April 21st to 24th, the FPI 2026 Global Customer Experience Day was held in Hangzhou.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nearly a hundred customers and partners from dozens of countries gathered in Hangzhou. Through visits to the headquarters, production bases, and demonstration sites\u2014alongside the launch of overseas strategies, showcases of new products and solutions, and partner exchanges\u2014they gained a first-hand perspective on FPI\u2019s independent innovation, smart manufacturing, and global delivery and service capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entering Qingshanhu: Seeing Beyond the Manufacturing Floor<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

On the morning of 22nd April, the FPI Qingshanhu Innovation Base opened its doors to global customers on a significant scale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the core vehicle for the company\u2019s independent innovation and industrialisation, the base integrates functions including R&D innovation, precision machining, system integration, and application verification. It serves as the vital pillar for the development and industrial implementation of FPI\u2019s high-end scientific instrumentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guided by engineers, overseas customers toured the base in groups to gain a practical understanding of the critical stages in high-end scientific instrument production\u2014ranging from R&D design and core component manufacturing to precision machining, full-system integration, testing, verification, delivery, and service support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This was more than a mere tour. For global partners, the focus was on whether technology has been successfully translated into manufacturing, whether engineering capabilities are robust, and whether the delivery and service systems truly support the products as they enter the market and operate over the long term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By shifting from “looking at products” to “looking at capabilities,” and from “viewing displays” to “visiting the site,” the Qingshanhu visit provided global partners with a more intuitive understanding. It demonstrated that competition in the global market is not just about the product itself, but about the manufacturing bedrock, engineering proficiency, and the delivery and service framework.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Selling Products to Delivering Value: The Evolving\u00a0Logic of Competition<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the afternoon, the Global Customer Conference took place. In his keynote speech, FPI founder Mr. Max Yao\u00a0elaborated on the company\u2019s future-oriented global development strategy, focusing on industry trends, corporate strategy, and directions for partner collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr.\u00a0Yao noted that competition in the high-end scientific instrument industry is currently undergoing a transformation. In the past, the focus was on the performance of individual instruments; today, it is on integrated solutions, automation capabilities, data integrity, compliance, and whole-lifecycle value. Customer priorities are also shifting from “product specifications” towards “uptime,” “long-term stability,” “data reliability,” and “final application results.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ultimately, future competition will not just be about possessing a product, but about the ability to deliver outcomes. It is not merely about completing a sale, but about supporting the long-term success of the customer. Particularly in industrial production scenarios, automation is becoming the baseline, and stability is growing in importance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the industry evolves, so too does FPI\u2019s path. Focusing on areas such as ecological environmental monitoring, industrial process analysis, laboratory analysis, and life science analysis, the company continues to strengthen its core technologies and product foundations. It is further integrating digital, automated, and AI capabilities to drive the implementation of application scenarios and the upgrading of solutions, moving towards the goal of becoming a one-stop solution provider for high-end scientific instruments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As demands change, so do the roles of partners. Mr Yao stated that as Chinese enterprises accelerate their overseas presence, the demand from local businesses and government systems for advanced schemes is rising. Consequently, automation, “AI+” features, and integrated solutions are becoming increasingly critical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Given the change in trends, the role of partners cannot remain static. In the future, partners will do more than just sell individual products; they will need to provide comprehensive solutions tailored to different scenarios. Through technical empowerment, training and certification, service support, and joint innovation, FPI hopes to co-design solutions with global partners, enhance local service capabilities, and deliver more measurable results for customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Going Global: Competing on Systemic Capability<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

At the conference, Zhang Hongwei, Director of FPI\u2019s Overseas Business Department, launched the “FPI Global Strategy 2026\u20132030: Global Growth, Local Support, Shared Success,” further clarifying the direction of the company\u2019s international business development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the strategic plan, FPI will focus on the three keywords of “Global Growth, Local Support, and Shared Success.” This involves upgrading overseas operations from product exports to the export of solutions, services, and branding. The company intends to gradually refine its global marketing and service network, expand into key regional markets, and solidify its local support systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference also saw the simultaneous release of new products and applications across business sectors such as Smart Environment, Smart Industry, and Smart Laboratory. These showcased technical innovations and solution capabilities across multiple scenarios, focusing on ecological environmental and carbon monitoring, industrial process analysis applications, and intelligent laboratory innovations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
