At a coal-chemical company in China, the GC 2000 was used in the delivery of a high-purity gas project. The project was equipped with our independently developed Pulsed Discharge Helium Ionization Detector (PDHID) for impurity analysis in high-purity gases.
The Pulsed Discharge Helium Ionization Detector (PDHID) is a specialized detector for trace-gas analysis and is commonly used to analyze high-purity gases, ultra-high-purity gases, and specialty gases for the electronics industry.
The current valve-and-flow-path solution for the GC 2000 equipped with a PDHID meets the analytical requirements of various high-purity gases, including high-purity hydrogen, oxygen, argon, helium, and nitrogen. - Supporting Drunk-Driving Enforcement in Asia
In a municipal public security bureau in China, the “lights-out laboratory” project based on the GC 2000 has been initially implemented and proven effective. It enables the detection of ethanol in blood and provides an efficient solution for drunk-driving investigations.
Combined with our independently developed sampler, the GC 2000 forms a “lights-out laboratory”—a fully automated blood-alcohol testing system that truly enables efficient, unattended operation.

- Supporting the Pharmaceutical Industry in Asia
At China Pharmaceutical University, the GC 2000 is combined with our independently developed sampler for pharmacopoeial method validation, helping establish a benchmark HS-GC-FID application for the pharmaceutical industry.
The HS-GC system has successfully completed basic performance testing, with all indicators in the same performance tier as internationally recognized brands.
- Supporting Agricultural and Food Research in the Americas
At a laboratory at the Universidad de Talca in Chile, the GC 2000 is used for on-site testing and analysis of agricultural products and food, including fatty acid methyl ester analysis and pesticide-residue testing.
Faced with agricultural or food samples containing complex matrices, multiple components, and various interfering substances, the instrument can clearly separate mixtures and achieve accurate determination.
According to the laboratory team, the introduction of the instrument will further promote agricultural and food science research at the Universidad de Talca, in Chile and across South America.
