The online oil-in-water sensor is based on the principle of ultraviolet fluorescence analysis. It is a high-precision, highly sensitive instrument designed for monitoring trace amounts of oil pollutants in water in real time. The analyzer features an RS485 interface and supports the standard Modbus protocol, offering fast response, automated operation, and data logging capabilities.
The sensor uses ultraviolet fluorescence to monitor oil content in water. It quantitatively analyzes the oil concentration based on the fluorescence intensity emitted after petroleum and its aromatic hydrocarbons, as well as compounds containing conjugated double bonds, absorb ultraviolet light. Aromatic hydrocarbons in petroleum fluoresce under UV excitation, and the oil concentration in water is calculated according to the fluorescence intensity.
