Under Indonesia’s Minister of Environment and Forestry Regulation No. 13 of 2021, ten high-emission industry sectors—including power generation, cement, iron and steel smelting, pulp and paper, oil and gas, mining, and fertilizer production—are required to install a Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS) for uninterrupted, real-time measurement. Automatic Data Transmission Architecture
SISPEK requires enterprises to transmit CEMS data from their on-site Data Interfacing System (DIS) to the KLHK server, following a mandatory connectivity test before approval is granted. The output signals from the CEMS-2000 are processed through a data acquisition system that can be directly uploaded to the “Distributed Control System (DCS)” or environmental authorities’ servers.
